About this Course

Spend your summer days mastering new bike skills with Cycling BC's iRide instructors. In partnership with the City of New Westminster, this 5-day camp is designed to help riders build the skills and confidence to tackle green and blue mountain bike trails. Each day will include a skill, a game and a bike ride in the area. Our week culminates with a special visit to the Burnaby Velodrome. Rental equipment is available upon request. Participants should be comfortable with the following: ability to lift the front wheel; ability to ride off sidewalk curb smoothly; ability to stop and go with 1 hand; ability to ride green trails; interest in mastering blue trails; and ability to exercise for 90 minutes.
