About this Course

Explore the history, traditional teachings, materials and basic techniques of Coast Salish wool weaving by making a simple yet beautiful small wool bag. Discover the cultural significance of wool weaving where intricate patterns and vibrant colours tell stories of tradition, identity and community. Each person will take home their own creation. Led by Indigenous Cultural Programmer Jordan Dawson. Children 8 - 12 years must participate with an adult but each person will take home their own creation.
