Explore the world of film and all its narrative possibilities. Learn about filmmaking process from real artist filmmakers as they teach script-writing to film recording to editing. Louise Lathey

Film has always been Louise's passion and she has been writing screenplays since she was 12 years old. Throughout her youth she wrote, directed and edited student films and participated in student festivals. She attended Capilano University and completed a certificate in Motion Picture Production. In 2019 Louise founded her production company Jack Dog Films with the purpose of promoting and creating female and LGBTQ+ driven stories. In 2021 she made her directorial debut with Who Am I Now? available on Apple TV and Amazon. In 2022 Jack Dog Films began expanding its scope into the world of digital marketing, helping organizations with like minded visions promote their brand or services through inspiring and creative video content. In addition, Louise holds a BA in Law Enforcement Studies and works as an independent consultant in the field of violence and animal cruelty prevention creating workshops and training for different organizations.
