About this Course

New Media Gallery and the Learning Lab have partnered up with 3D printing specialist and guru John Biehler to present the wild, wacky and wonderful world of 3D printing. John will share with you his limitless knowledge in this exciting realm; from quirky DIY projects to large scale prototyping, there are no limits in 3D printing! His presentation will be 30-40 minutes duration. Q&A session and live scan and print demonstration will follow. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to have their own heads scanned and printed! Talk & Presentation Cost: $5 Optional 3D Scan + Miniature Head Print: $25 (Please bring cash or check to the event) John Biehler has been actively sharing his knowledge about 3D Printing with people from around the world for seven years. He is the founder of Cactus Studios and co-founded 3D604.org. His first book, "3D Printing with Autodesk" was published in 2014 by Pearson. Biehler is currently working with Douglas Coupland on the 3DCanada Project.
