About this Course

We are excited to offer Girls in Technology! Experienced Childhood Educator Alanna Ho has developed a strong following. Her course will inspire and encourage girls to develop their own unique voice & understanding around our changing world of technology. Girls will be introduced to some remarkable women in history who have changed the world. Through a series of creative and collaborative making projects, participants will explore different technologies and ways of working. Girls have the option of joining Guerrilla Girls to perform at YEET! - Innovation Youth Weekend, March 2 + 3. A series not to be missed! To assist with busy schedules workshops will include 1 hour of instruction and 1 hour of Open Studio Making. During the 2nd hour girls concentrate on making but are free to leave early without missing any instruction. Participants can also attend any other Open Studio on Sundays for $5.
